Soul Body Yoga has a wide offering of classes to satisfy the needs of beginners as well as advanced practitioners. You can design a program that will be your companion throughout all the stages of your life. Help channel the firey energy of youth then release the stress of work and other burdens as you progress through your life cycle. Hatha Basics

Hatha Basics

This class we will practice basic yoga postures including standing to seated and floor asanas. Suited for beginners as well as regular practitioners. We may also tap into more challenging poses as the class progresses.

Hatha Flow

Hatha Flow

This challenging and invigorating form of yoga focuses on linking the breath with every movement   to  create  the dance of Prana (energy) within the body - energizing you throughout your day.

Kundalini Yoga

This class is designed for beginners and experienced Kundalini Yoga practitioners alike, and will target specific body systems, strengthening your health and vitality.

This class is taught by Dr. Christina Papers who has brought Naam Yoga to our studio. It is a unique practice of yoga which involves different body movements, meditation and breath works which has many Therapeutic benefits. No experience necessary. Suitable for all ages and could be done sitting in a chair.

Wall classes are offered privately as well as in small groups. They are in two categories: Therapeutic sessions are mainly focused on the back and neck and are an excellent alternative for post-surgery rehabilitation, Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Treatments.

Pilateyoga Fusion

This class is a fusion of mat Pilate's repertoire to invigorate and tone the core, arms & legs combined with yoga stretches to lengthen and add flexibility to the entire body.
Pre-Natal Yoga

Pre-Natal Yoga

This class uses breath and body work to facilitate childbirth. Expectant mothers will cultivate a sense of peacefulness and release. Offered as individual packets. Day, time and fees adjusted according to class size. Call for details.
Well-ness Wednesday Yoga

Are you feeling like your well has run dry? De-stress and renew for a mid-week break. Breath and movement are coordinated to restore, unwind and refresh. This class includes guided breathing practices and simple meditation. Suitable for beginners and adapted for the maximum well-being of all students.

Yin is the balancing practice for your yang style of yoga" or "It is yoga for the joint .Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues (which we are calling the yang tissues).

We'll start with Yang, flowing through standing poses to build heat through lengthening and strengthening the large muscle groups of the body. Then move in to Yin with slow, cooling long held poses lengthening the connective tissue, ligaments, and tendons which support and strengthen the joints of the body, primarily of the hips, pelvis and lower spine.

In this class we utilize yoga postures and pilates exercises which are geared toward strengthening the abdominals, back and hips region. Challenging yet suitable for all levels to enhance their yoga practice.

This class is suggested as an introduction to all those new to the practice of yoga. We will present general information about yoga and review safety issues, proper body positioning and instruction in the use of props. Pre-registration required.
